Smaller spaces feel cozier!
Don't stress about your maximalist style - fill up a room to make it cozy! Easy cozy styles include adding poufs or ottomans to the floor, using drapery instead of shades on windows, and having lots of cozy seating/hang out spaces.
Lighting is important!
If you find the idea of candle light cozy, try adding ambient light to your room. Instead of relying solely on overhead lights, use table lamps, light strips and "real flame" faux candles. Keep your lighting in the 2700 or lower temp for the warm orange glow.
Texture, texture, texture!
Don't leave walls or floors bare: art, hangings, rugs, throws, pillows, wall panels, etc. all make a room feel cozier by adding a comfortable texture on top of hard surfaces.
