One amazing thing she has done

When traveling in the Algerian part of Sahara, I was lucky enough to experience oriental hospitality at its best. We travelled the trans-saharian road in an old "4L" (Renault) - basic but solid. We stopped at sunset in El Oued, the only oasis in a hundred miles, hoping to find a place to sleep. Any hotel, even very frugal, would have been welcome. There was none. The night fell, the city became pitch dark. We were walking on soft, white sand. On an impulse, we knocked on the first door, and were welcomed by a man who did not even ask what we wanted. He knew... Not only the family gave us their best room for the night, but they treated us with the most tasty, refined couscous I ever had in my entire life. I which I had learnt how to do it ... HomeExchange, for me, is a way to return the favor of our wonderful hosts back in the desert.

Why she loves HomeExchange.com

Home Exchange for me is nearly a synonym of Freedom: to discover the world for no more that staying home. A unique chance to live several lives. The only thing I am missing: TIME, to enjoy all the traveling opportunities I get daily in my mailbox.
