We are currently converting our home back into a 4 bedroom house. The lower level was once a Granny Flat. We have added a spiral staircase to get from the upper deck down to the lower one, which makes it convenient to access, but our backyard still has not been finished. There are many pleasant areas and parks around for families with children to visit.
We have a beautiful (very mobility accessible) home, built in 2002, which we purchased in 2009 and updated with all new interior paint, carpeting and tile flooring. We have amazing views over the valley, nearby hills, and Cameron Park Lake. We offer 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a large kitchen with granite counters and stainless steel appliances, formal living and dining rooms, as well as an informal dining area in the kitchen. The home has full central heat and air conditioning, and dual-glazed windows, and is comfortably furnished and decorated. Included also are a washer and dryer, dishwasher, TV, stereo, internet, etc. We will offer a car for exchange.
The master bedroom has a queen size bed and is en-suite, with separate shower, jetted tub, dual sinks and toilet. The second bedroom has a single size day bed (twin size), with trundle, so can sleep 2 if necessary. The second bathroom has a full tub with shower over, toilet and sink. Both the master bedroom and kitchen have large furnished decks where you can sit and gaze at the view, watch the sun rise with your morning tea or coffee, and the sun set with a glass of wine! The two downstairs bedrooms have a queen and a full bed respectively, and a bathroom with walk in shower. There is another living area downstairs, with internet wifi connection, and a smaller tv.
Sacramento is the capital of California, and with The Capitol Building, Governor's Mansion, Old Town, theaters, art museums, restaurants, and history, along with sports arenas, concerts and excellent shopping it has so much to offer. Very close by to us is the City of Folsom with its new "Three Stages Theatre", and Folsom Lake with boating, water skiing, fishing, hiking, golfing and bicycle recreation available. Nearby are "Hangtown", (Placerville) and Historic Sutter's Mill in Coloma, where the California Gold Rush of 1849 began. Coloma offers whitewater river adventures on the South Fork of the American River, with many professional companies available for fun runs down the rapids. We have wineries and apple orchards of the Apple Hill area, and to the east of us is beautiful South Lake Tahoe with golfing, boating, kayaking, fishing, hiking, water skiing, snow skiing, snowshoeing, and of course entertainment, gambling and restaurants galore. Available also are the San Francisco Bay area and the Napa Valley wineries within easy driving distance.
We live in a quiet neighbourhood on a cul-de-sac in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains, with lovely views of the valley below, nearby hills, and lake, so come and enjoy beautiful Cameron Park and the surroundings where you can be as busy or as relaxed as you desire.
Quiet and peaceful, yet close to shopping/culture.
Lots of outdoor activities available nearby.
It is bright and sunny, with beautiful views.
