A picture speaks a thousand words.

Slow and local travel will be a priority for many of us when we’re able to travel again. With the quarantine and lockdowns, many of us have grown to be more mindful, to adopt a slower pace of life and to spend more quality time with loved ones. And we’re sure that this will carry forward to the way we will choose to travel in the future.

We’ve seen after the first wave that members are choosing to travel locally, to rediscover the areas or regions where they live and chance on off-the-beaten-track places and spots. And we think that it’s important to travel this way, to lower our carbon footprint, to support the local economy and much more, all while enjoying some quality time with your loved ones.

How to participate

1. Share a photo

Share with us below a photo of a place that you love from where you live! It could be a picture of your favourite local business, some cultural places, where you go for the best view, a hidden street with small, independent shops, anything goes! (It should be a picture taken by you, not from the internet!)

2. Share why you chose it

When submitting the photo, also tell us a little story behind what you've chosen to submit (for example what you love about it or a favourite memory of yours relating to it).

We love seeing and getting to know you a bit better so don't be shy and share pictures of you in it!
