Jan tells us about their family trip to Palma de Mallorca with their new born son.
How did you find your exchange?
I contacted the other member in search of an exchange.
What attracted you to this exchange opportunity?
What we were looking for was an apartment all to ourselves where we could be together with our new born son, which was close to the beach with a great sea view and which we could use as a starting point to discover the island by car.
How was your arrival at the home?
We met our host in town before we arrived at the apartment. She was very kind and offered us great advice about the apartment and surroundings.
What did you see or do during your exchange?
We checked out the lovely city of Palma de Mallorca for shopping and eating. Other days were spent sleeping in and watching the sea view from the apartment. We also spent a lot of our time on the beach and discovering the small towns on the island.
What is your favorite memory from the exchange?
Spending time together as a family in the apartment and in the restaurants.
How would you describe home exchange to your family and friends?
When people ask us how and why we travel so much we always explain to them the great way home exchange enables you to exchange your home. It's a great way to be able to travel without spending a lot of money.
