1. Where did you go on home exchange?
Saint Augustine, Florida
2. How did you choose your destination and home exchange?
We were interested in the historic sights in the area there are many interesting things.
3. What was the conversation like with your host?
My conversation with Ann was very easy going and friendly. She was very helpful and responsive.
4. Your arrival: How was the house? Did you meet your host? Did they give you any gifts or tips for visiting the area?
The condo was great. It was easy to find and was just as we expected it to be. There were a lot of brochures and information about the area. We didn’t meet in person since they live elsewhere.
5. How did exchanging your home influence your vacation, compared to a traditional vacation rental?
We love home exchange for several reasons. The accommodations are much more comfortable and personal than a hotel. We also love the savings which allow us to travels more than we would otherwise
6. Tell us what you saw during your trip.
We toured the historic quarter. We walked up and down the cobblestone streets dating back to the 1500s. We loved touring the Castillo and Flagler College. The stained glass and art in the College is amazing. Like a living museum.
Bonus Question: What is the best memory from your trip?
The condo was very close to the beach. It was about a block away. We enjoyed walking on the beach and shelling.
