Welcome to our house in Copenhagen! We're a family of three, Christoffer (37), Josefine (39) and Jarl (almost 2). Our house is a classic villa from 1915 with several charming and original details preserved, perfect for a family holiday in Copenhagen where you will be close to all the city highlights and still have the option to relax at one of the most quiet streets in the city of Copenhagen. About the house: - 5 rooms, including two living rooms, master bedroom, nursery and office (with double-bed). - 2 bathrooms at ground floor and garden-floor. - Two outside terraces - Large private back-garden, perfect to spend time with the family in the warm summer months (Pictures does not justify the garden as they were shot during winter:-) Additional information: The house is split in two seperate units: us (soon you!) on the ground- and garden levels and a family living on the first floor of the house (A nice family of four with whom we have a very good relationship. You will only notice them in the garden from time to time as they spend most of their holidays in their vacation home + the house has seperate entrances). Our house is very suitable for families or couples wanting to explore and live very close to the highlights of Copenhagen, while also having the option of relaxing and spending time with each other in a private setting in a quiet and very safe area of the city. Private gardens are rarely seen in the city and we are looking forward to welcoming you in ours and our charming old house :-)

Our house is situated on a private street, sorrounded by other charming old houses that used to be owned by the managers at the world-renowned Carlsberg Breweries in the early 1900's. Today, the houses are part of the famous "Forfatterkvarter" (The 'authors' neighbourhood', all streets are all named after famous Nordic writers and one of the most sought-after residential areas in Copenhagen). From the house it is easy to access public transportation (7-10 minute walk) and if you are travelling by car or bike, you will find that most of the city's highlights are within a 20 minute distance. You can also explore nature in some of the city's famous gardens which are located nearby or take a family trip to the beach (20 minute walk from the house). For foodies and culture enthusiasts, the vibrant restaurant scene of Copenhagen and Frederiksberg is just a bike or short train ride away, as are the city museums and concert venues. We also have an ecellent, large playground on our street, a 2-3 minute walk from the house, which is very popular among the children in the neighbourhood. Whatever you feel like doing during your holiday (except skiing!:-) you will find that it is easy to reach your favourite activity from our house - and when you just want to relax, pick out a sun-bed from the outhouse and relax while the kids play in the backyard.
