We are located on the Wild Atlantic Way between Kinsale and Clonakilty. Both towns are a 15-20 minute drive from the house, with Cork International Airport a 40 minute drive away. It would serve as an excellent base for exploring West Cork and Kerry
We have three young children so our home is very child friendly.
We have a large Kitchen/dining area with an adjoining sunroom, which leads out onto an elevated decking area with spectacular views of the Atlantic Ocean. You can enjoy breakfast/drinks/bbq's here.
We also have a seperate living room and utility area.
Outside there's a large private garden where you will find swing chairs, a hammock, a kids zip line, a trampoline, swings, slides and loads of other activities for kids and adults.
We have 4 large double bedrooms, 2 1/2 ensuite and a bathroom both upstairs and downstairs. Cots are also available. The bathroom down-stairs also has a large shower, perfect for getting sand off the toes straight away when you come in from the beach.

Lo que te va a encantar del barrio
We are living in Harbour View just outside the village of Kilbrittain. Harbour view is the name of the beach, just in-front of us. It is a beautiful sandy beach which is great for walking on and bathing as its usually very quiet.
Kilbrittain village is a typical Irish village with a main street, a church, post-office, a pub and a local shop. It does have some unique differences though , at the bottom of the main street at the entrance to the playground, the skeleton of the 'Kilbrittain Whale' is displayed. The 'Kilbrittain Whale' is the remains of a fin whale that was beached on the beach near us in January 2009.
We also have the oldest continually habited castle in Ireland. The village post-office also doubles as a coffee shop and Deli, serving fantastic breakfasts and lunch Thursday-Saturday (the coffee and pancakes come highly recommended).
There is also a beautiful wood with a shallow river and waterfall nearby and you can walk through the woods to gain access to the playground/whale.
Kilbrittain Summer festival also runs during the month of August each year. The open-air dancing is a special part of the festival with the dancing platform at the beach just a short walk from us.
There is also the Pink Elephant, a lovely bar/restaurant within walking distance from us with spectacular views.
We are located just 20 minutes from Kinsale (gourmet capital of Ireland) and 20 minutes from Clonakilty. We are just 40 minutes from Cork International Airport.
