What did you appreciate most about the home you stayed in?
The design of the house, feeding the cat, a clean house, the wine left for us, the balcony with a canal view, and extremely comfortable beds
What did you appreciate most about your exchange partner?
Good communication, giving advice for what to do during stay, she was always helpful, and her kindness.
What did you see or do during your exchange?
We went to Amsterdam for the first time and the house we stayed in was within walking distance of everywhere. There was a tram stop close to our house. There was a market set up near the house that our host informed us about, and we enjoyed everything there.
What is one of your best memories or experiences from a home exchange?
I told our host it was our wedding anniversary. She bought wine for us and left it at home. When I saw the wine and her sweet note was an unforgettable moment for me.
What would you say to your friends and family who are considering HomeExchange?
I always invite my friends and my family. Also, I shared the app on my IG page. I think everyone should have this experience.
What tips and tricks would you give to new HomeExchangers?
I recommend that you send a message to all available houses as much as possible. Finding a suitable match is not always easy but don't give up. :) I always find a suitable house for me. If I can do it, everyone can.
