What are the purposes of the Badges?
- Deepen Member trust within the community
- Give everyone a clear indication of each Member’s level of experience with home exchanging
- Highlight Member loyalty and engagement within the community
- Badges do not currently impact how your Listing ranks in search results
How do I earn a badge?
Each badge has a specific set of requirements that need to be met in order to be earned, all of which can be found below.

“Newbie” Badge
Members who have just joined the community. It will remain on the profile for their first six months.

“Member Since”
The year Members joined the community.

“Expert Responder” Badge
Members who have responded to at least 90% of inquiries received.

“Photo Pro” Badge
Members who have shared at least 10 high resolution images of their home or apartment. Images 1600 X 1200 Pixels (2MP) qualify as high resolution images.

Ambassador Badge
Ambassadors are selected by the HomeExchange Team to help shape our community by providing valuable input; ultimately improving the site and the home exchange experience for Members. If you would like to nominate a Member for the Ambassador Program, please send your nomination to Community@HomeExchange.com

Globetrotter Badge
Members who have done at least 10 or more home exchanges with another Member of the community.
