My townhouse is just 2.5 miles from Lower Broadway and all the fun you could want to have in Nashville without having to worry about the madness associated with trying to stay downtown. You're never more than a 6-8 minute ride away from your destination. Whether it be a Titans game, Preds game, Sounds or Nashville Soccer Club game, or any concert you could hope to attend, they're all just right around the corner. Nashville is a great spot to visit if you've never been, or somewhere worth returning in the off-season if you've already been fortunate to travel here before. There's no bad time to come to Smashville (as we call it during hockey season) but there's something special about the fall and cooler weather here in Tennessee.

At the intersection of Melrose and Edgehill, this is a bustling neighborhood on 8th Ave South. Residential with plenty of single family homes and apartment complexes. Hattie Bs Melrose is a stone's throw away. 8th and Roast and Baked on 8th, anchor the neighborhood's small business feel. I always tell friends and family that I am in the type of neighborhood where you'd go to pick up your $8 overpriced, Sunday morning latte. I like this part of town because you're away from some of the craziness of downtown but you can get there in a heartbeat if needed. It's the perfect spot to set up for a few days, relax when you want, and also have the ability to go explore everything the city has to offer.
