Our 5 bedroom (2 master suites) home is in a quiet suburban neighborhood, on a culdesac street and directly across from the neighborhood pool, playground and tennis courts. A open floor plan on the main level with quiet seclusion for two family rooms (one lower level but not basement and one on main floor). The master suite is truly a suite oasis with office sitting area as well as a loft balcony turned library, a luxurious king size sleep number bed, and a bathroom with jetted tub and standing shower. Perfect for a family whose parents want more "alone time" from the other 3 spacious bedrooms upstairs. The 5th bedroom (2nd master) is an "in law" suite downstairs, including a private entrance through the adjoining laundry room back door with a key code locked door for the suite from the family room private hallway. From the Great Room's dramatic vaulted ceilings and skylights to the cozy family room with gas fireplace and the chef's kitchen with enormous commercial fridge and freezer, dual (double) dishwashers, and side by side double oven gas range it has everything you need to "get away" and explore the Washington DC area. Also includes a doggy door, home gym (in the garage), red light therapy, hot tub spa, outdoor fire pit, and an automatic-on natural gas whole house generator (often the neighborhood mature trees take out power lines but we never lose power).

Our home is only a few miles away from the Metro subway, the train that goes from DC to Dulles airport, and everything in between - like the famous Tysons and Tysons Galleria malls. With tons of mature trees and nature, like the WO&D trail being walk/bike distance away there are endless areas to explore. Or, simply bike to Reston Town Center, an outdoor market area. We also have a farmer's market and food truck "village" within walking distance and 4 manmade lakes in the town perfect for paddle-boarding and kayaking. The neighborhood pool is private with everyone respecting state rules for occupancy, with lots of room to spread out because of our small neighborhood population.

This high end community is close to many wonderful tourist destinations including Udvar Hazey National Air & Space Museum, Great Falls state park, Reston Safari Zoo, Manassas Battlefield, Wolf Trap arts center and George Mason University (GMU). Head into "the big city" of Washington, D.C. to visit the world's most popular FREE Smithsonian museums like the Natural, American, African, Native American History Museums as well as the first Air & Space Museum, National and Portrait Galleries, Botanical Garden, Hirshorn and National Zoo - yup, all free. We love the Union Market and Eastern Markets, too! We recommend local restaurants Ariake Sushi, Red Table, and Cafe Sano (both on Reston's lake) as well as visiting all the shops and restaurants at Lake Anne. Any chain restaurant and store you can imagine is here, too.
