Our house is a spacious, 4 bedroom familyfriendly terraced house with outside architectural elements typical for the area, such as wooden shackles and shutters. It has a front and sunny back yard and a garden room.

Our home is located in a quiet street and in a very child friendly environment. The house is ideally situated close to the village center (15 mins walk) and a short bicycle ride (10 mins.) to the capital city of southern province of North-Brabant, Den Bosch. This city is famous for the cathedral Saint John, one of the biggest and best kept examples of Gothic architecture. Also, the tunnel canals and fortifications from the Eighty Years War are one of a kind and well worth visiting. The many old streets of Den Bosch are great for shopping and cafe-dining. By the way: the North-Brabant Museum inhabits some of the greatest works of the Dutch Masters, such as Van Gogh and Hieronimus Bosch.

The surroundings of Vught are rich in nature as well. At a 10 minute bike ride you can take a walk in the native woods- and heathland and swim in one of Holland's most beautiful lakes.
Vught also is important in the international Second World War-hisitory, with many impressive sites still open for public, such as the original deportation railway station and a prison camp.
Other great sites and cities are quite close to our home; Amsterdam is under an hour's drive, Brussels and Cologne only 2 hours. The famous Dutch flower fields and the windmills of kinderdijk van de reached by car in less than an hour. London and Paris can be reached by train in just 5 hours or by plane in one hour only.
