Located 3 hours from Denver and .5 hour from Laramie, our home is a rustic cabin retreat sitting between Libby Creek, which runs beside the deck, and the North Fork of the Little Laramie. It is surrounded by towering aspen and pine trees. The original cabin was built in the 1950s and has since been updated to include 3 bedrooms and a loft, 2 bathrooms, and a wonderful great room. You will enjoy the sound of the creek rushing by while you grill, roast marshmallows over the fire pit, or lounge in the deck chairs with a good book or to have a quick snooze! When night falls you won’t believe how many stars you can see! Observe the great outdoors through the sliding glass doors that form one wall of the great room. When you’re not looking out at the beauty, play shuffleboard, put together a puzzle, or enjoy the fire in the large brick fireplace. Our kitchen is fully equipped for preparing all your meals. Budding artists will enjoy the lighting and the view from our “plaid room” (one of the bedrooms), so bring your sketch pad or paints and capture some of the beauty! Bring your hiking boots to enjoy the many and varied hiking trails in adjacent Medicine Bow National Forest where you will find you have the trail mostly to yourself – no crowds! If you enjoy fishing, you’ll want to have your fishing gear to catch the trout which are abundant in the many lakes and streams nearby. Encounter deer daily and occasionally elk, moose, marmot and fox. You will find the town of Centennial, Wyoming to be an eclectic small town and might be surprised at the quality of 3 great restaurants and the western-style bars with music from local musicians. There are also 2 shops displaying the work of local artisans as well as souvenirs and some great ice cream along with a museum detailing the history of Centennial. If you tire of the quiet you can drive 1 hour over the Snowy Range Mountains to Saratoga, Wyoming and the Historic Wolfe Hotel and the hot springs, or drive 2 hours through beautiful mountain vistas to the town of Steamboat Springs, Colorado. Our cabin is a 3-hour drive from the Denver International Airport and is located 25 miles west of Laramie, Wyoming. You can also fly into the Laramie airport.

Our cabin is situated near the small town of Centennial, Wyoming. There are 4 other cabins in our immediate area, one of which is occupied most of the year, another about half the year, and the other two infrequently. We are right on Libby Creek and the sound of the creek is mesmerizing. Just walking around the "neighborhood" is beautiful. We are a short walk from the national forest.
