Our home is quite simple and we are quite easy going. We have 3 bedrooms, apartment, not a house. Our apartment is on the top floor of a 4-storey building. strictly no smoking even anywhere in the building. Smoking is allowed outside the building only. No smoking in the balcony neither. no e-cigarretes, too. However, on reciprocal or non-reciprocal exchange we can only offer the 2 double bedrooms because the small room is an room with folded beds and folded table. It tends to be where my kids play music so we do not wish this to be used and it will be locked. The sitting room has 2 sofa beds - one double sofa bed and a single sofa bed. There's one bathroom with an extra toilet downstairs. I am not a big fan of curtains and love the sunshine so the living room and my bedroom has only viole curtains and so these rooms be quite bright in the spring summer months. If you like to sleep in complete darkness, I'd suggest you'd bring sleep eyes masks. The single room ( my daughter's and is away at university)is also an office. If you are looking for a hotel or bed and breakfast standard, our home is NOT the place. We endeavour to maintain cleanliness and order but if you have a particular standard, then perhaps our home is not the place for you. Also, if your home is spacious, and you like big spaces, our home may not be suitable for you. If you are looking for exactly the same size as your home, please read and ask questions and details first, before you request to stay. I do not wish for guests to come, stay then comment on how the space is small. We are sharing our home and space in order for both homeowners to save money and not to compare each other's home and spaces. We will help you in your stay with us, whether you want to know the public transport or free things to do in London. However, it is important to ask early as it us quite time consuming and I'm busy. Anything you want to book in London works out cheaper if you book early. We have a weighted electronic keyboard, drum and guitar for those who are musical. There's cable TV, DVD player and unlimited fast internet. Lots of English DVDs. We do not provide food but you are most welcome to help yourself with hot drinks such as tea, coffee, hot chocolate. If you wish to buy food, you can eat it in our home, or buy food to make sandwiches, you are welcome to do this, and use the fridge. Cooking is permitted. We provide linen, up to 4 towels. I also require £20 cleaning fee, payable in cash upon your arrival. If keys are lost, there's £30 cost, which you can pay in cash or will be taken from your deposit. If you damage anything, you must report it to me immediately or to Guest to guest, if I'm not contactable. If you use the washing machine, please buy your own soap. Local shops are 5 minutes walk. Kids are most welcome! We offer one double bedroom anytime for one or two people for non-reciprocal (100 points per night- please request this on my other profile) guest to guest points. This means we will be in our home if you want to visit London. A couple with a young child is also welcome! For exchange, or when you occupy the whole apartment and we are not in, the guest to guest points for 3- 7 people is 200 points. Everything is negotiable with insurance. Ideally, I like the insurance to be require if there are children, and I expect that from the host as well, since Iam aware accidents are more likely with kids, especially young children. We are not strict with the dates but their holidays for 2016-2018 are as follows: 30 Mar -15 April 27 May-3 June 21 July-2 Sept Saturday 20th October 2018 - Sunday 28th October 2018 21 Dec 2018 - 2 jan 2019 For exchange, or when you occupy the whole apartment and we are not in, the guest to guest points for 3- 7 people is 200 points. We have 3 bikes in the shed, 2 folded, more for teenage girls. We usually cycle in the canal, just 15-20 cycle away ( maybe longer, depends how fast you are!). We can also try to arrange the use of our car, 5 seater ( so long as we are not using it to travel to Europe of UK) and you are prepared to pay for the car insurance. The deposit is negotiable too. The flat is available for reciprocal or non- reciprocal exchange during British school holidays.

There are 2 stations nearby, enfield lock( 10 min) and Turkey street ( 15 minutes) both end in Liverpool street. Check www.tfl.gov.uk. It's within zone 6. At enfield lock, there's a train that goes to Stratford station where Stratford international and Westfield shopping centre. The train also takes you to Tottenham hale station (Victoria line) where you go to Central London, or take fast train to stansted airport. For cheaper public transport, buy it before you come to get tourist price. Www.tfl.gov.uk see visiting London. Buying early not only saves many but you will also receive discount in many of the attractions. Kids under 11 years old is free on all public transport in London, so long as they travel with a full paying adult. You must order your ticket early and online to benefit from this or discounts for 11-16 (half price adult). There are also free sports activities. If there are parents out there interested in some academic/educational activities for kids, do ask me. My kids always attend these, they have fees but definitely worth it, some courses my kids have attended are: coding, building a computer, digital photography, music production, robotics etc. For those on a budget, there are plenty free activities at museums ( free for now, might not be free forever!) For anything free in London, ask me in advanced!
