Our home is a quiet place on Earth. Comfortable with a spectacular wiew at the nearby mountains and the Fjord where we live. And still only 3 km to the center of Stavanger City. We live in a well established neighbourhood. Only 15 minutes drive from the airport of Stavanger. Public transportation (bus) right outside in the steet, will take you to the center of Stavanger City in 10 minutes. Small hidden beaches just a 15 minute walk from the house (we are all-year swimmers). A small lokal supermarked 150 meters from the doorstep. One of the main attractions "Swords in Rock" a monument to commemorate the viking battle in Hafrsfjord, is a 15 minute walk from the house. If you want to get a spectacular view of the Fjords, you can easily take our family car and visit The Pulpit Rock and Kjerag Bolt. Its less than an hours drive from our home. We are hikers, and can give many advises and suggestions on how to get to beautiful but less "tourist-trap" routes in the mountains. We use the self-service cabins in the nearby mountains a lot, and will be happy to share this information with you. The City of Stavanger is a small, but lively town, known for its quality restaurants, good nightlife, an has a charming "Old City". Stavanger can also offer a good quantity of galleries and museums.
