Wat je fantastisch zult vinden in dit huis

Our home is located 3 miles up a dirt road in remote Mendocino County. It's a perfect place for hiking in the surrounding hills, sitting down by the pond or just hanging out with the cats. (we have 4) It's rustic but the kitchen is a completely outfitted chefs paradise, the sunken tub fits two and the sounds you hear are those of the birds. A perfect place to just hide out or go explore from. The photos show the view from the front deck both in the summer and the winter. There is also a photo of the pond as seen through the trees.

Just 3 hours north of the Golden Gate bridge, our home is a great jumping off point for exploration of the best that Northern California has to offer, including the famous Lost Cost, the village of Mendocino, the amazing Redwood forests, the vintage skunk train and more. If you love nature, this is a great place to be.

This is a rustic off-grid home. While it does have all the amenities; water pipes freeze in winter, you can hear the generator when it needs to run, neither the road to the house nor the driveway is paved, and spiders and spiderwebs are a way of life. If you are looking for a custom, perfectly polished home, this is not the stay for you. If you love the idea of staying in a home built from the ground up by the owners with actual post & beam construction, we've got you covered. If you don't care if all the towels match but you want to be able to run to the green house in winter to pick herbs for dinner, this may be your dream stay.
