Wat je fantastisch zult vinden in dit huis

Clean modern cottage, two stories, built from wood milled from the property, surrounded by a sylvan redwood setting. About this space Tranquility among redwoods just 10 minutes to Mendocino. The two story structure is clad in red steel to give the sense of a farmhouse, built from wood milled on site. Ideal romantic getaway. Views of trees from every window. Ocean air. Quiet like you've never heard it before - The space Upstairs has forest views from every window, a king-sized bed, sitting area, a full bath, and a small balcony. Downstairs has the pull-out sofa bed, sitting area, dining area, an enclosed outdoor sitting area, and a deck from which to enjoy the trees. The second level is accessed by an exterior stair. Our desire for this property experience is for guests to wake up as if in a tree house - you can be in bed and look out and see beautiful redwoods and enjoy the morning light or, conversely, the moon and starlight. We don't use blinds for this reason - the main house is 200' feet away and there are two large clumps of trees between the structures. Rest assured - no one can see you. Guest access There is a parking space, or you can park directly in front of The Depot. Other things to note: For our tastes, the setting is exquisite. This list is just to help make sure you enjoy your getaway to the Depot: - though contemporary in design, this is basically a cabin in the woods - we will consider additional guests, please ask first. - additional guests have to go upstairs, as that is the sole bathroom. - going upstairs also means going outside - there is not an interior stair between the two levels. - the main house is about 200 feet away, and we are sometimes in town as well. - we are happy to chat, but generally we just give guests privacy - the windows have no blinds - we opted for the treehouse effect and having the indoor-outdoor feel of the redwoods. Don't worry - no one can see you. - there is good WIFI, but it is satellite; while it can generally stream a movie without any problems, there are occasional lags. - please no smoking, vaping, candles, incense, barbecue or open flames. - a couple of reviewers have said you need a car with higher chassis in order to access - that is not true, many small and low-to-the-ground cars have been up. Just take it slow, you'll be fine. We are very COVID conscious as so clean and wipe down everything between guests and use UV (ultraviolet) light as well.

Just ten minutes south of historic Mendocino and beautiful Big River Beach. Superb location - very close, and yet private. The quiet is magnificent.

One has to go outside to access upstairs, bathroom is upstairs. Guest points are 105/night - HomeExchange limits, I will request difference once booked. Add one-time $60 cleaning fee as well, regardless of length of stay.
