Our updated 1940's farmhouse is a place to relax and unwind in the serenity of the Paso Robles countryside! This space was designed to be a beautiful blend of luxurious indoor and outdoor living, featuring airy accommodations and an expansive "back yard."
"Avera" the property is compromised of over 10-acres and two farmhouses, built in 1944. Our name means “to be well” in Latin, and “friendly and kindness” in Eastern Indian. It is our intention our guests experience both!
On property we also operate Paso Lavender Co, meander through our lavender field of 800 plants. Walk to Jack Creek Cellars, and enjoy a tasting or glass overlooking beautiful Hwy 46 West landscapes. Or light a fire in the evening on the back patio, where you will feel transported to another region with views of the picturesque countryside. We offer a private retreat that delivers a relaxed and genuine Paso Robles experience, where time slows down ... perhaps that is why our county is "SLO County!"
Please note; There is NO DISHWASHER. Laundry can be accommodated (we share the laundry room in the guest house) WE LIVE NEXT DOOR. Each home has their own private backyard spaces. While we are on site, each house has ample private spaces.
Guest access
The 1200 square foot house will be yours to enjoy! One bedroom with a queen bed, and one daybed in the lower living space. A full kitchen, with a french press, brand new; full size refrigerator, oven, stove, microwave, rice cooker, crock pot, blender and all the essentials.
Our "backyard" is expansive and somewhat a work in progress with a fresh poured concrete patio, fire pit, dining set and a beautiful view of the mountain side and open fields. Typically our guests enjoy spotting deer and all kinds of birds (some guests refer to it as a bird sanctuary), while enjoying coffee or wine on the patio. In the spring through mid summer take a stroll through our lavender field and smell the soothing aroma of french lavender ... you may feel like you're in Provence!

Enjoy our prime location with easy access to the world renown west side Paso Robles wine trail, charming downtowns, easy access to Trader Joe's, Target and other groceries, or simply take a bike ride or walk down the road and enjoy the natural beauty we call home.

We are almost exactly half way between SF and LA, approx. 215 miles either direction.

Attached (locked) laundry is available upon request. Our cats sleep in there only at night ... we block the bottom of the door with a towel, and they are never in the living side of the residence.
There is no dishwasher.
Cleaning fee of $90 to be collected prior to check in, can be paid via Venmo or Paypal.
