Wat je fantastisch zult vinden in dit huis

We love the light-filled rooms, high ceilings, open feel, and comfort of our home. It is in a wonderful quiet neighborhood but is within walking distance to restaurants, open space, Sinsheimer park and downtown San Luis Obispo. This home is a two story free-standing home. Entry is into the main level where the kitchen, living/dining room, guest half bath, laundry room with washer/dryer, master bedroom with queen bed and en suite bath are located. Upstairs there are three bedrooms; one has a queen bed, one has a bunk bed and the other has a twin loft bed with window reading nook also used for sleeping. We have a small private office located in the backyard with a desk, printer, and futon couch. Next to the office is a 6 person hot tub. There is also a BBQ, outdoor mini fridge, and an outdoor shower (next to the slider door entry to the master bedroom) to rinse off after a day at the beach or a dip in the hot tub. Our garage has a small home gym with a peloton and weights/weight bench/pull up bar. We have 2 chickens in a coop in the backyard -- they are contained and ok with food and water for up to 2 weeks.

This home is located down the street from Sinsheimer Park: a large park with tennis courts, disc golf, a recently-built amazing playground, volley ball and a baseball stadium. Adjacent to the park is the SLO Swim Center and the YMCA. Walk or bike into town along a nearby bike path.

San Luis Obispo is a gem of a small city with a vibrant downtown complemented by Cal Poly University, Cuesta College and many open spaces. There is something for everyone; outdoor activities, cultural events, wine tasting, fine restaurants and a performing arts center. The heart of down town is Mission Plaza surrounded by Mission de Tolosa, History Museum, SLO Art Museum, SLO Children’s Museum and bordered by the creek. If you love wine tasting, there are several beautiful, award-winning wineries within 10 minutes and not too far are the wine areas of Templeton and Paso Robles. Many wineries offer food and live music on the weekends. If you love dining out you will have a hard time choosing where to go next because our town has an amazing selection of fine restaurants. Several are within a short walk. Every Thursday evening a downtown street is closed for Farmer’s Market which offers food from various restaurants, street performers and fresh produce. If you love music and cultural events you must check out our Performing Arts Center (PAC) for high quality productions. Or more casually, there are always live music performances at many venues in town and nearby. The SLO Rep is an intimate theater downtown with great drama, comedy and musical productions. During the summer there are free Friday night concerts in Mission Plaza. On the first Friday of every month Art After Dark offers a fun opportunity to stroll downtown and see the work of local artists. If you love outdoor activities you are in luck. As mentioned above the park near the home offers many. Or, hike one of the Morros (volcanic formations) within the city with well-maintained hiking/biking trails. There is a 9-hole golf course in town and several larger courses not far away. Pickleball open play happens at three city parks, one has three dedicated courts. We are twenty minutes to the beach for swimming, surfing or walking. This is just a glimpse of all that San Luis Obispo has to offer and we are near several other beach communities each with something unique and special of its own to offer during your visit.
