The Apartment is located next to Malinska, just a 2 minutes walk from the sea and public beaches. There are many small pebble and rocky beaches, one after the other. All beaches are open to the public and free of use. Along the sea there is a beautiful walkway , follow this you can walk one direction to Malinska, other direction to Porat. Along the walkway there are small taverns and bars, partially open also during winter season but most of them are open seven days a week during summer season. Many more restaurants, bars and pubs are nearby in the center of Malinska (30 min walk or 5 min by car - public parking available). A bakery and a fruit and vegetable stand is located within short walking distance from the Apartment (3 min). From Malinska there is a bus service on the island and the mainland. Car-Exchange is not possible, two bycicles are available can be used during your stay. During high season a little train with many stops on its way, is driving through the villages. Tickets for the train can be bought directly at the driver. Distances: Rijeka Airport is located 15 km away, on the island of Krk. Krk-city-center is 15 km away. Rijeka-Center (mainland) is 37 km away and is highly recommended to visit. It offers a beautifull farmers and fish market with an incrediable variaty of fresh food and drinks from Croatia. There is good bus service from Malinska to Rijeka and around the Island. Tickets are available online (with discount) or directly at the bus station in Malinska. Airport Ljubljana is 160 km away. Airport Triest is 140 km away. German version: Autotausch ist nicht möglich. 2 ältere Fahrräder stehen zur Verfügung. Weiters fährt in der Hauptsaison eine kleine Bummelbahn mit zahlreichen Stops durch die Orte. Der Flughafen Rijeka ist 15km entfernt und befindet sich auf der Insel Krk, der Flughafen Triest ist 140 km entfernt. Krk-Stadt ist 15 km entfernt. Rijeka-Zentrum (Festland) ist 37 km entfernt, es existiert eine gute Busverbindung von Malinska nach Rijeka. Ein Besuch von Rijeka ist absolut empfehlenswert, vorallem am Vormittag, wenn der Markt geöffnet ist.

Die Wohnung befindet sich im 1. Stock eines Zweifamilienhauses, 2 Gehminuten vom Meer entfernt. In der Nähe befinden sich zahlreiche kleine Strände, teilweise Kiesel, teilweise Felsen, die ineinander über gehen. Alle Strände sind frei benützbar, in regelmäßigen Abständen gibt es Umkleidemöglichkeiten und Toiletten. Klimatechnisch ist das Baden ca. von Mai bis Oktober problemlos möglich, Juli/August sind die Strände ferienbedingt voller. Dem Meer entlang befindet sich ein Gehweg, diesem folgend können Sie in eine Richtung nach Malinska, in die andere Richtung nach Porat spazieren. Unterwegs befinden sich immer wieder mal kleine Tavernen oder Bars, die allerdings teilweise nur in der Hauptsaison geöffnet sind. Diese Spazierwege sind zu allen Jahreszeiten benützbar und wunderschön. Ein Bäcker und ein Obst und Gemüsestand befindet sich wenige Gehminuten vom Apartment entfernt, sind jedoch nur in der Hauptsaison geöffnet. Vom Hauptort Malinska gibt es eine Busverbindung auf die ganze Insel und aufs Festland. Während der Hauptsaison fährt eine kleine Bummelbahn die Orte entlang und hält bei zahlreichen Restaurants Hotels und den Stränden. Die Wohnung befindet sich in einem Doppelhaus, eine Haushälfte wird im Sommer vom ursprünglichen Besitzer, einer kroatischen Familie bewohnt, die andere Haushälfte teilt sich in 2 Wohnungen. Die obere Wohnung mit Terrasse und Blick zum Meer ist unsere, die untere Wohnung mit Garten gehört einer netten slowenischen Familie, welche gut englisch spricht. Die Umgebung ist sehr sauber und ruhig, dies würden wir uns auch von unseren Besuchern wünschen. Die Wohnung ist mit Klimaanlage und Heizung ausgestattet.

It´s only a 2 minutes walk to the best beaches in the area. Sea-view from the apartment, also view to mainland (Rijeka / Opatja), the apartment is located at the first floor. The apartment is brand-new and placed in a very nice area of the island.
