What you will love about this home
Our apartment is located in the Valencian coastal town of The Perelló, right by the sea (free beach, you don't have to pay). It is a summer town and the apartment is our second home, therefore the exchange does not necessarily have to be simultaneous.
The apartment has a double oceanfront bedroom, a second room with two beds and a third double room, meaning that the apartment can accommodate up to 5 or 6 people. Each bedroom has access to the terrace which surrounds the whole apartment. There are also two bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen and a living room/dining room with breathtaking views of the beach.
One of the best features of the apartment is its 40 meter squared terrace which has two streets on either side, and is on the corner of the beach and the main street in the town. We use the terrace a lot in summer as the weather is pleasant and you feel like you’re on the beach.
What you will love about this neighborhood
The Perelló is situated 22 kilometres from Valencia city along a good road and a toll free motorway. There is also a bus that circulates every 30 minutes in Summer.
El Perelló is a very family orientated village and in summer, the population of the town multiplies by 10. The town is very lively and there are plenty of restaurants, pubs and ice cream parlours as well as people on the beach at all hours of the day.
After watching the sun rise from the comfort of your bed or from the terrace, it can be quite relaxing to start the day with a nice stroll along the beach. In fact, there are often people running along the beach or fishing from 7am! It’s almost an ideal way to work up an appetite for breakfast, which we love to have on the terrace.
If you don’t fancy going to the beach straight away, you can go to the town centre to do your daily shopping (there is a traditional market open every day and many supermarkets and take away restaurants). There are also small street markets every Thursday morning in the town and on Sunday evenings at the beach.
We think that noon is the best time to go to the beach and get a tan (but always with sunscreen) and cool down with a refreshing swim in the sea. Before going back up the apartment to have lunch, we often take some time out to enjoy "tapas" and a cool beer in any one of the numerous waterfront bars.
After eating, a "siesta" is essential! However, if sleeping during the day is not for you, perhaps you may enjoy a bit of reading on the sea facing deck chairs.
In the evenings, especially at the weekends, the youngsters take over the local pubs and bars. And for those of you who prefer a more romantic evening, we definitely recommend a moonlit walk along the beach or the waterfront.

Plaza de la Virgen, the Basilica, Plaza del Ayuntamiento, Plaza de la Reina, the Catedral, Barrio del Carmen, Lonja, City of Arts and Sciences, the America’s Cup Port, the Formula 1 Street Circuit, Biopark, the museums and the malls.
- Places of Natural Beauty:
The Albufera Nature Park with boat rides on the lake, the Dehesa del Saler and Montanyeta dels Sants de la Pedra with spectacular views of the rice fields.
You have two karts circuits near El Perelló (Las Palmeras y El Saler).
There is an Aquapark in Cullera, very close to El Perelló.
You can go to Madrid in 1 hour and 30 minutes (AVE fast train), or to Barcelona in about 3 hours.
