Our home is a nice, large 4 bedroom, 3 bath two story house in a wonderful walking neighborhood. The main floor has an open floor plan with an upgraded kitchen, large dining area, sunny breakfast nook, living room, laundry room/pantry, 2 bathrooms,2 fireplaces, 3 bedrooms, and a large enclosed patio, which is currently being used as an artistic creative space. Two of the bedrooms have single beds, one with a trundle underneath. The third bedroom has a single that pulls out to a double if needed. There is an outdoor patio with dining table so that you can enjoy your meals while enjoying the wonderful Southern California weather. Upstairs is the large master suite. The bedroom has a king sized bed, an office space, large bathroom with dual sinks and large jetted tub. The shower and toilet are in a separate room. We have good internet for working, TV with a couple subscription services, and lots of toys and books for children. It's a great house for kids!
We are located in a nice family just a short walk from a large regional park. The park has everything you can imagine--tennis, archery, golf, duck ponds, nature trails and nature center, bike paths, skate park, playgrounds, BB courts, library, and lots of space to throw a ball or Frisbee around. The park also hosts summer concerts in the park where hundreds of people gather to picnic and listen to the Long Beach Municipal Band. The beach is just a few miles away and there are lots of places to rent surf boards, paddle boards, boats, etc. Just a few minutes drive away is Belmont Shore, a cute beach area with lots of restaurants and shopping. Naples is another nearby neighborhood with homes on the water where you can rent an electric boat and cruise through the canals, or pack a bottle of wine or picnic and take a sunset gondola ride. Just 15 minutes away by car is adorable Seal Beach, another small beach town that has a wonderful, casual feel with some more great restaurants lining a great shopping street that ends at the pier.
The area is great for bicycling, tennis, sailing, golfing, and walking and the bike path runs both north and south to other beach towns.
