Our home is a unique Victorian two bedroom apartment within the impressive historical 'Carlton House' it has been sympathetically modernised whilst keeping many original features such as the high ceiling and an 18ft x 15ft lounge. The single bedroom boasts a unique mezzanine level with sea views. The property has a modern kitchen and bathroom and is centrally heated throughout with WiFi in every room. From the lift to the expansive roof terrace, you can enjoy panoramic 360 views of Portsmouth, Portsdown Hill with surrounding countryside or stretches of coastline and the Isle of Wight to be explored.

What you will love about this neighborhood

Situated on the beautiful Southsea seafront, within the 800 yr old historical city of Portsmouth. Opposite Peter sellers (Comedia, actor) birthplace and near where the writer Conan Doyle (Sherlock Holmes) lived on the iconic Castle Road, it is also only 2 streets away from the famous alternative Albert Road. Across our common is the FunFair, Old Portsmouth, HMS Victory and Warrior, Gunwharf and the famous Spinnaker tower and to the left Southsea Castle and Pier, you can never get bored on an island city like this with so much going for it whilst being so flat (cycle heaven)! The hall floor apartment has views framed through the tree boughs that stretch across the expansive Southsea common to the beach with a neverending interesting shipping and sailing lane of the Solent with the backdrop of the Isle of Wight to give you one of the most spectacular sights on the south coast of England.
