What you will love about this home

*** AVAILABLE FOR SIMULTANEOUS EXCHANGE IN AUGUST 2018 - MINIMUM 14 NIGHTS PLEASE! *** We moved into our home 3 years ago and have spent a lot of time redecorating. Downstairs there is one large reception room with TV and a smaller one also with sofa (which converts to a double bed) and TV. There is a lovely kitchen/diner which has just been completed with all mod cons including gas hob, electric cooker, dishwasher and American-style double fridge freezer. There is a small separate area with washing machine, tumble dryer and the downstairs toilet/wash basin. Upstairs are 3 bedrooms - one super-king size with en suite bathroom (shower only), one with a single bed which converts to a double via a "trundle bed" underneath, and another with small double bed. There is also a bathroom with bath and shower and a study with wardrobe space. Outside at the rear is a 50ft garden with tended shrubs and a large patio area with garden table, chairs, parasol and gas barbecue. We would consider a car swap and have a VW Passat Estate. What you will love about this neighborhood

Our lovely family home is located just 5 minutes walk from historic Chipping Sodbury high street, with its numerous shops, pubs and restaurants, and is the perfect base for exploring the Cotswolds and surrounding areas of Gloucestershire and Somerset. The M4 motorway is just 7 minutes away and the city of Bristol and historic Bath are both just 20 minutes drive, and 30 minutes across the bridge into Wales. Bristol Parkway railway station is 15 minutes drive and from there only 1h30m direct to central London. Chipping Sodbury itself boasts one of the widest and most attractive high streets in the country and offers all of the essentials you might need for your stay without even getting in the car. With 2 Indian restaurants, a Mexican, a Thai, an Italian and a Chinese, plus 7 pubs (one with a steakhouse) and 3 coffee shops all offering excellent food, you are spoilt for choice for eating (and drinking!) out. The high street is always buzzing but really comes alive at the weekend! Shops are too numerous to mention but include boutique shops, an off licence, a convenience store, a post office and a newsagent. For eating at home, the newly opened Waitrose supermarket is just a 5 minute walk from the house. Slightly further afield is the town of Yate - only a 10-15 minute walk - which has the newly opened Riverside complex with a 6 screen cinema and a number of chain restaurants - Nando's, Prezzo, Frankie & Benny's and Dean's Diner. In the main shopping centre opposite you will find a (very large!) Tesco Extra supermarket.
