What you will love about this home
I'm looking for a reciprocal exchange for around 2 months starting in mid-January.
The queen-size bed has a memory foam mattress topper and plush down pillows. The open layout is my favorite part. Three big windows. A cozy desk that looks out the window onto Allen Street. Thoughtful lighting and decor. The TV is on a swivel, so you can cook with entertainment from all the streaming services - Hulu, Netflix, HBOGo, Amazon. Laundry is right downstairs. The apt is on the top floor of a walk-up with a nice view. There are multiple subway stops within a 3-5 min walk.
There's a record player complete with a collection of old jazz, soul, and Motown records. All the cooking tools to make a fabulous meal while you're listening to a Sinatra record in the middle of Manhattan. Or enjoying takeout from a neighborhood spot.
This apt also comes with a curated NYC bucket list from an 11-year vet (me) :)
I'm so excited for your next great adventure!
What you will love about this neighborhood
Welcome to Manhattan.
The magic of the city is this: around every corner, there is an opportunity for collision.
With a man. Your dreams. A hot dog cart.
You choose your own adventure.
You’re living in a rom-com, whether you like it or not.
New York is funny that way.
In the Lower East Side, you're right in the middle of the magic. It's full of charming small businesses and vibrant nightlife - a restaurant, bar, comedy show, or live music always within arm's reach!
A walk away from all of the rest of the best neighborhoods in Manhattan - SoHo, West Village, East Village, Little Italy, Chinatown. A quick subway ride away from the bright lights of Broadway. The cocoon of midtown skyscrapers. The romance of Central Park. And a walk across the bridge from Brooklyn!
The LES is a neighborhood in Manhattan where people actually know your name. It's a special little pocket of NYC that I feel very lucky to call home.
