What you will love about this home
Known to the extended family here at Riverplains Farm as "Granma's House", our lovely guest home was built for my maternal grandmother, Billie C. Pope in 2013. Billie has since passed on, but her peaceful, artistic spirit still imbues the house with a comfort and serenity that we know you will enjoy. The house sits at the heart of our chemical -free farm, near the main house and barns. Enjoy stunning views of the river bottom fields (often graced by our 100% grass-fed cattle), horses in nearby paddocks, free roaming hens and roosters, and a true peace and quiet that you can only find in the countryside. We do have excellent cell phone coverage in the area; however, we offer no Wifi and the house itself is extremely low in EMFs. (Of course, you are welcome to bring your own Wifi hot-spots to accommodate your needs.) Location-wise we're only 11 miles from interstate 40. Without being too remote we offer a restful break from the harsher aspects of the modern world, plus a chance to stay on a lively, working farm.
