Once called "Carpenter's Mate," this 1850s brick carriage house was recently gutted and rebuilt brick by brick. Only a block from Kingston's bustling waterfront, the first floor apartment has an open concept living/dining area with French doors leading to the cozy bedroom. We've decorated with a collection of inherited antiques and gems from our travels and the kitchen has everything you need to cook a great meal.
Kingston is a vibrant small city in the heart of the Hudson Valley. The neighborhood is quiet and residential, yet only a block away is Broadway, which can get busy, especially in the summer. Please be aware that this apartment is on the ground level (no stairs!) and there's a 2 bedroom apartment above this unit that may or may not be rented during your stay. There is also a small, private bluestone patio in the back for your use only.
The Rondout in Kingston is a lovely place to live and spend a weekend. Down the block, there are many shops and restaurants including Kingston Wine Company, Clove & Creek, Antiques on the Hill, Savona's, Mole Mole, etc. We're only two blocks from the marina where you can book a boat tour of the Hudson River, stroll along the promenade, or take a longer walk to Kingston Point Park. Uptown and Midtown Kingston are also easily accessible by car or bike or the bus stop located at the end of the street.
