We’re one mile from downtown Golden, an idyllic town just 20 minutes from Denver, 15 minutes from Red Rocks Amphitheater, and 1.5 hours from Vail, Breckenridge, and other world famous ski resorts. Golden boasts the easiest access to trails for biking and hiking, and Clear Creek canyon for climbing, rafting, and kayaking. The town itself has walking trails for miles, beautiful parks, breweries galore, and fantastic restaurants and shopping. Our home has one of the best views in town, with unimpeded views of Lookout Mountain. We have both ample front and backyard space, outdoor seating and dining furniture, firepit, and two grills (gas and charcoal), as well as detached garage space for storing any equipment, skis, bikes, etc. We purchased our home from the original owners (1950) and renovated everything to be entirely updated, with all new appliances, central AC and heating, etc. We have washer/dryer, dishwasher, large refrigerator (with additional fridge in garage), microwave, gas stove, and oven. Our home consists of two floors, with main level holding living room, dining room, kitchen, two bedrooms (one with queen size bed, one with crib), and one full bathroom. Downstairs holds one bedroom with full size bed and office, living area/home theater, laundry, and 1/2 bath (sink/toilet). During the summer and fall, we have a garden exploding with vegetables (zucchini, squash, tomatoes, cucumbers, herbs, etc) entirely up for grabs. We have a cat that tends to not bother you as long as you don’t bother him :) once he gets comfortable with you, he’ll likely try to sit on your lap. Feel free to entertain that or veer him away with treats. His foods on an automatic timer, so we wouldn’t need you to worry about food. Just cleaning his litter box daily, refilling water bowls, and giving him some love ever so often.

Quiet neighborhood, 3 blocks from the university in town, School of Mines. Bike and walking path directly across the street from us that brings you to town in one direction, and brings you up a path through the hills in the other direction. Small playground 1.5 blocks from house. Two grocery stores within one mile. 2 blocks from Golden High School.

Children are welcome in our home, though our home is not entirely childproof (as our child is only 6 months old), so be weary of that!
