A stunning, restored village house in the heart of a historic village in the Dordogne. The oldest part of the house is from a 12th century gatehouse... there's even an archery hole as a window!
There is a large double ensuite bedroom upstairs, with a small childs room attached. Downstairs there is a large sitting room with open fire and balcony, plus a further double bedroom and bathroom. There is a small kitchen overlooking the courtyard garden. Parking is on the street but it is a quiet village so not a problem.
Situated opposite a chateau and in view of the ancient Abby. In walking distance of a river to swim in during the summer and a lovely Patisserie. The village is surrounded by countryside and lovely walks. Just a short drive to a range of supermarkets and only 30 mins into the city of Perigeux.
This is our second home, we normally live in Newquay, Cornwall. We are in France for most school holidays but it is available for most the rest of the year. You are welcome to bring well behaved dogs.
This is a very old property so its not perfect and is a bit quirky but that is all part of its charm!
