Third generation, two storey family home opens onto a large grassed and tree-lined yard. Open concept layout keeps everyone together, and still keeps space to relax. Two bedrooms upstairs and one downstairs gives plenty of sleeping spaces. A bathroom is conveniently located on each floor. Kitchen table looking out to the water is our favorite spot for cards and games. Living room nook is the best for reading and sunsets. Screened-in ground level deck is perfect for outdoor social gatherings. The raised deck and a ground level deck blends inside with outside living spaces warmed by south-facing sun.
Nestled on the shores of the Bay of Fundy, watch the highest tides in the world from one of our two decks or large private yard. Enjoy nearby eco-trail systems, fossil hunting and bass fishing from the beach just 20ft away. Or get right into it and dig clams or beachcomb the endless coves and beaches - just be careful to get home before the tides bring you home! The neighborhood is small, quiet and mature with mostly walkers and rockhounders. There are restaurants only a 5minute drive in Five Islands for seafood platter loaded with fresh clams, fish and lobster rolls - or you can buy what you need at the small local market and have your own clam bake on the beach in front of the house.
A relaxing retreat just far enough away without being far away.
Our home is centrally located within the Maritime provinces of NS, NB and PEI. The nearest major center, Truro, for all shopping is 30minutes away, the small town of Parrsboro is 20 minutes away for groceries, banking, local theatre, restaurants and golf.
