The Margaree River, located in Inverness County, is the crown jewel of Salmon Fishing in Nova Scotia and open from June 1st to October 31st. Anglers can also enjoy fall salmon runs in Middle River and Baddeck River in Victoria County during October.
Baddeck has all essential services - hospital, pharmacy , post office, hardware store, restaurants, shops, liquor store, skating rink, curling club, library, Alexander Graham Bell museum, yacht club, royal canadian legion, churches, pizza parlour, hotel/resorts, police station, ambulance base.
