E' una vecchia casa siciliana in centro al paese e a due passi dalla piazza principale, dai negozi e dal viale centrale. La terrazza in cima alla casa (al terzo piano) ha una vista magnifica sui Nebrodi e sull'Etna verso la piana di Catania ed è il posto più appartato per l'abbronzatura, il relax o anche una cena e aperitivo con gli ospiti.

Il quartiere "del Carmine" è adiacente alla chiesa della B.V. Maria del Monte Carmelo o Carmelitani che risale al 1572 e ha l'originale pianta ottagonale. A pochi passi negozi, bar paesani e poco più in la' (300metri) la piazza centrale del paese. Le case - tipiche di antico paesino rurale siciliano - sono tutte alte e molte senza il tetto spiovente, ma con grandi terrazze abitabili con maglifici panorami.
