Our home is situated on a tidal river with Long Island Sound access in the quaint shore town of Westbrook, Connecticut in between New York City and Boston. About 2 hours by car to either location, plus there is a Shoreline Commuter rail station in Westbrook and an Amtrak Station in the next town of Old Saybrook. The house was built in 1770 and has been updated with all of the latest amenities. It is on a 2.3 acre lot. The river provides fishing, blue crabbing, kayaking, and swimming. The town beach is a five minute drive.

The neighborhood is a quiet residential one within walking distance of a town/state hiking area. There are two grocery stores within a 5 minute drive and numerous restaurants within 10 miles.
