What you will love about this home

My house is located in front of an Almohad Castle from the 1st century, declared a historical heritage of Spain, it has independent access and has spacious and bright rooms. It has two large rooms (living room and main room) with air conditioning and two chaise long sofas, one of them convertible into a double bed. The kitchen is complete with furniture and large and small appliances, necessary so that nothing is missing in the room. 140 square meters very well distributed in three bedrooms: the main bedroom, with a double bed, which has its own bathroom (built in September 2022) and air conditioning; a second room that has a double bed and air conditioning. and a third, with a bunk bed with three beds and a ceiling fan. The kitchen has access to a first terrace, where there is a barbecue, a wooden table with four chairs and an outdoor shower. The terrace has stunning views of Moguer Castle. In addition, on the upper floor there is a 100 square meter solarium terrace, which has hammocks, a sofa set and armchairs, as well as a table with chairs for dining, where you can enjoy a magnificent sunset.

What you will love about this neighborhood

It is located in the historic center of Moguer (Huelva), a town 15 minutes from Mazagon beach. La Rábida Monastery 15 minutes away. 20 minutes from the city of Huelva, 29 km from the Doñana National Park and hermitage of the Virgen del Rocío, 70 km from the Sierra de Aracena and Picos de Anoche, 50 minutes from Seville, 60 minutes from the wonderful beaches of the Algarve (Portugal), 235 km from Cordoba, 300 km from Malaga and 342 km from Granada. Gastronomy: In the province of Huelva there are products such as Huelva ham, seafood such as white shrimp. In spite of everything, it can be said that the cuisine of Huelva is based on seafood in the south, while in the mountains it is oriented towards pork products and mushrooms, and in El Andévalo towards game meat and lamb. That is, it consists of a fusion of products from the mountains to the coast. Moguer: Moguer is a municipality located in the autonomous community of Andalusia, the city is located at an altitude of 49 meters above sea level. There were several human settlements that, since ancient times, spread throughout the municipality of Moguer. The Hispano-Romans founded the town "Urium" around the defense tower (Moguer Castle) built in the current urban area. With the arrival of the Muslims, the town became the "Mogauar" farmhouse. The urban nucleus has the Monastery of Santa Clara, and the convents of Corpus Christi and San Francisco. Moguer is a town with a strong economy based on agriculture and fishing. Moguer actively participated in the preparations for the Discovery of America. Among its people, Christopher Columbus found the support of the abbess of the Santa Clara Monastery, Inés Enríquez; the clergyman Martín Sánchez and the landowner Juan Rodríguez Cabezudo, and above all, of the Niño Brothers who had a fundamental participation in the discovering voyage, contributing their caravel "La Niña", and enlisting almost a third of Moguereños in the discovering crew. . On the way back from the trip, the Columbian vow was held in the church of the Santa Clara Monastery. For many years, Moguer maintained maritime and commercial activity through its port, exporting the wines produced in its area, and other merchandise, to America and European countries. The wine activity was the engine of its economy until the beginning of the 20th century, when the development of strawberry cultivation, at the end of the century, led to a new economic, demographic and social development. At the beginning of the 21st century, agricultural production has diversified with the development of the cultivation of other berries, which has made the municipality the largest producer of strawberries and berries in Spain and Europe. Moguer is a Site of Cultural Interest of the Columbian Places, having had special relevance in the preparation and realization of the first voyage of Christopher Columbus, which resulted in the discovery of America; and B.I.C. of the Juanramonian Places, being the birthplace of the poet Juan Ramón Jiménez, Nobel Prize for Literature in 1956 for his work as a whole, designating Platero y yo as its outstanding work, which is an amusing book written about Moguer, its people and their customs. In addition, 3,590 hectares of its municipal area are part of the Doñana National and Natural Park, declared a World Heritage Site. Nearby airports: Seville (Spain): 100 kms. Faro (Portugal): 129 km.

-On behalf of the Moguer City Council, the summer nights in the municipality have a wide and varied repertoire of musical performances of all kinds that are called "summer moon in Moguer" and are held in the courtyard of the Castle, very near from our house. -Where to eat in Moguer?: *"Mesón el Lobito": More than a hundred years feeding the people of Moguer and its visitors. A family winery where you can eat fabulously, with a grill where meats are grilled, in sight, and with a decoration that takes us back to ancient times of Moguereñas wineries. *"Bodeguita Raposo": Abundant food. Good price. nice yard. friendly owner. You order food at the bar with a list and the waiters serve it to you at the table. *"La Parrala": Very generous portions, authentic homemade and traditional food. Very fresh and well prepared products. Good customer service. Good prices for eating a la carte. *"La Yunta": Famous for the size of its dishes without compromising quality. Very well priced. A good place to eat with the family.
