What you will love about this home
Our entire home is actually a destination Bed & Breakfast (Coral's Edge) in a premium seaside location overlooking the Caribbean Sea with the amazing sites and sounds of the Sea crashing on our shore just down from world famous Cane Bay, one of St Croix's many gorgeous beaches and a prime location for snorkeling and scuba diving. When you walk into our home with wide open spaces and high ceilings, you immediately look through the house and the back sliding glass doors, over the pool to the turquoise shades of the Sea. Just before stepping onto our shore from our back steps, you will find our Dive Room that is equipped with an outdoor shower, two sinks to rinse your snorkel and scuba gear, dry storage and more. We have coolers, snorkel gear, beach chairs and many more amenities to share for the ultimate experience. Our home was built in 2002 and we recently completed renovations to update and elevate in 2019, including a completely brand new kitchen that is open to the great room, housing a 55 inch TV and a bar. Each bedroom has its own minisplit AC unit, small refrigerator and Keurig. The two seaside bedrooms (the Dolphin Room and the Turtle Room) with their own sliding glass door to the balcony/pool also have their own microwave and ensuite bathroom. The Map Room is at the other end of a private hallway with separate door access to the large Turtle Room bathroom. The Coral Room (used by us as the Innkeeper Suite) has its own bathroom as well.
What you will love about this neighborhood
Coral's Edge is a gorgeous drive down St Croix's Northshore past Salt River (one of only a few bioluminescent bays in the world) and only 1/2 a mile to Cane Bay Beach. We are centrally located in-between downtown Christiansted (North Central area of the island) and downtown Frederiksted (West area of the island). There are numerous beaches, restaurants, bars, and more nearby. Our entire island is only 28 miles long and 7 miles wide but there's plenty to enjoy everywhere! You can go horseback riding, snorkeling, scuba diving, hiking and more right here in the immediate area. We are also close to St Croix's rain forest and the Tide Pools to our West. Or you can explore our island further and check out Point Udall on the East End, with a Millennial Sundial marking the easternmost point of any U.S. territory, a great place to celebrate the sunrise on New Year's Day! Wake up to a gorgeous sunrise from the East over the water and one of St Croix's historic sugar mills in the morning, and cherish an amazing St Croix sunset to the West each evening. No two are ever the same - and the pelicans, heron, deer, iguanas, stingray, mahi and various wildlife and sealife around our property will enjoy it with you!
You can rent the entire home (reciprocal or for full guestpoints) when we are occasionally off island (reflected as "available" in green for any exchange on the calendar here in Home Exchange). Just in case we haven't updated our calendar, feel free to ask us if other dates are available (we love to travel, so feel free to offer a reciprocal exchange!). Our 4BR/3BA home accommodates 8 guests (with a futon for a 9th guest if needed).
And for dates we are on island and open as the Bed & Breakfast, you can request an exchange for reduced guest points to book 1 to 3 B&B rooms as available (each room accommodates 2 guests). And yes, we (the Innkeepers) will be on property serving you breakfast & mimosas, and taking care of your every need!
