What you will love about this home
Set in a quiet courtyarded building, my flat is a lovely oasis of calm from what is a bustling city. With high ceilings and big windows it is a light and airy space. It is 72sqm meaning that there is a lot of space. With one double bedroom and an alcove with a single bed (or the area is great for a study. The place can be used for a artist, writer or digital nomad as a great base to explore the exciting city.
It is decorated in a medley of items I have collected from parts of my travels. So don't expect anything too formal :)
There is a terrace shared with my neighbours with enough space to sit out with a coffee.
What you will love about this neighborhood
Budapest is currently the most exciting, growing city of Europe. Over the last years it has been transforming from its forgotten old grandeur to one of the most happening and vibrant locations of Europe. The heart of the old jewish quarter with its bars and restaurants is 10mins walk away, and although it is a noisy quarter, by the time you reach my flat, it is a quiet resendential area, with just little corner shops and little bars and cafes.
It is also just 15mins walk to the Danube with its elegant bridges and turn of the century architecture or in the other direction 15mins walk to City Park, a large open space with a castle, boating lake /ice rink and the famous Szechenyi Thermal Baths where you can find the older generations playing chess as the lounge in the medicinal pools.
I've never met anyone who came away from Budapest without a list of things they loved. As it has something for everyone and in abundance, as well as affordable.

You are welcome to smoke, but please just on the terrace.
It is a quiet building so please don't have loads of loud parties, and be respectful when in the common areas.
