What you will love about this home

My home is a newly renovated bright, colourful and modern house beside the lovely river Shannon in Limerick. Our open plan kitchen, dining and living area make it a perfect area for family to mingle. We also have a large comfortable sitting room with tv and shelves of books and board games to keep any reader happy! Downstairs we have gamesroom with a PS4 and a wii – this room also has a sofa bed that can be arranged into a double bed. Our kitchen opens out onto a patio/decking area that leads to the garden. We have a lovely sized garden that is safe and enclosed with two large trees and hammocks. It is plenty big for an evening game of badminton or barbeque. There is also a small courtyard with a basketball hoop and an artists studio. We also have utility room, with washer and dryer and an additional fridge. Our home has 3 bedrooms (upstairs) and the downstairs games/bedroom. Upstairs we have two large bedrooms (each with a double bed) and the third bedroom has a single bed. There are two bathrooms - one upstairs and on downstairs. Each has a shower.

What you will love about this neighborhood

My neighborhood is a beautiful estate located on the banks of the River Shannon on the border of County Clare and a Limerick. We are 100 metres from a beautiful river walk to the University of Limerick and you'll spot heron's, swans, ducks and all sorts of wildlife; perfect for a run or a leisurely walk. We are a 5 min drive or 15 min walk from Limerick city where there are many café’s, restaurants, shopping and the famous milk market. There are many historical places to visit in downtown Limerick such as King John’s castle, Pery Square, the Treaty Stone, St. Mary’s Cathedral and many other spots. If you are interested in culture, you could visit Limerick City Gallery, the Hunt Museum or attend a rugby game at Thomond Park. Within less than a 30 minute drive, we have the lovely village of adare, Adare Manor, Lough Gur, Bunratty Castle and Killaloe village. Our home is within a stones-throw to some of the loveliest tourist attractions on the west coast of Ireland. Heading north, we are a short drive to Ennis town, the Cliffs of Moher (75 mins), The Burren (65 min), the Ailwee caves, Galway city (80 mins) and the surfing and coastal towns of Lahinch (64 mins) and Kilkee (90 mins). Heading South, are the the beaches of Ballybunion (85 mins), Killarney (100 mins), Dingle (2 hours) and Cork city (90 mins). With the long bright evenings, any of these destinations is a day trip. In short, we are really centrally located for exploring the west coast of Ireland and the Wild Atlantic Way.
