What you will love about this home
Our home is a wonderful 5-bedroom home: the master bedroom with large bathroom, walk-in closer and double sink. The three other upstairs bedrooms are spacious. One is great for kids with a crib that can be converted into a bed for a young child. One of the other bedrooms has is a full office. The final is a salon/reading room that can be used to put a double air mattress or cot that we have available. Finally, we have a 5th bedroom downstairs that has a queen sized bed. We have a fully fitted kitchen with a large fridge/freezer, dishwasher, new pots/pans, a home sous vide (for those with a cooking bent). The dining rooms fits six, with extra seating in the kitchen. The main floor opens up into a spacious living area with couch and extra seating, and a second small seating area with fireplace we call "the nook". The most relaxing feature of the house is the backyard and patio. We have a huge deck with nice shade directly out the back door. A large patio table fits eight and is perfect for evening meals. We also have both a gas grill and a charcoil green egg if you enjoy smoking meat/fish/cheese. The house is both kid and work friendly. It's perfect for a family and would work great for any remote workers who want to use the office to work while family relaxes and explores the area.
What you will love about this neighborhood
The neighborhood is perfect for families with kids of any age. We live on a circle in a very safe, walkable neighborhood just south of Denver. There are walking paths through grassy areas in between houses that have community disc golf baskets. There is a private neighborhood pool about a 10-minute walk from our house that is open all summer with life guards and a kids pool. There are two tennis courts available to reserve at no cost as well as a sand volleyball court. All of these are shared by about 50 families so there is never a problem with crowding. For nicer restaurants, theatre and entertainment we live within walking distance from the train to downtown Denver. By car there is great mountain hiking about 30 minutes west. If you want to get deeper into the mountains or to a mountain resort we live about 1.5 hours from Rocky Mountain National Park and the major ski destinations of Copper Mountain, Breckenridge and Keystone.
We do have a car available for use. As we're not in downtown it's important to be able to drive if you're going to get groceries and enjoy the area. It's also helpful for getting out and enjoying the mountains! Our neighbors are wonderful and will be helpful for any questions or suggestions you need.
