What you will love about this home

We live in a really accessible village in South Dublin. Terenure village is about a 10 min walk from the house and has loads of great restaurants and shops. There is a small local lake for walks and large park called Bushy Park very near by. The city centre is 10 min in a cab (approx €10) and 2 great bus lines service the neighbourhood. There is a corner shop, chemist, post office, Dr and Dentist less than 100m from house. A child friendly local pub, Two Sisters, is right around the corner for easy family meals or a local night out. The house was remodeled 5 years ago and is really warm and comfortable. You'd be welcome to our bikes, trampoline and lots of toys.

What you will love about this neighborhood

We are very close to Terenure Village where there are large grocery retailers Lidl and Aldi, Bank of Ireland, and some clean comfortable pubs; Brady’s, Vaughns and Terenure Inn. There is a bookshop, drycleaner, coffee shops and loads of restaurants you can google their menu’s to see if you like the look of the place. Sawadee Thai/Indian, Pizza, JD’s Steak House, Mario's Italian, Foam, Lovely Food Co and a few Indian restaurants. Eddie Rockets, Green Man Wines, Mayfield, Tani Sushi ( Green Man is the best of the neighbourhood lot and has a great selection of wines. Lovely food is also really good and the closest. We live near an amazing amenity called Bushy Park. There are walks on paths and on trails, a lake with ducks and swans and a shady river path with stepping stones over the river to please the kids. New tennis courts (hourly booking, no membership required) , playground with zip line and a skate park (you can borrow our skate board/scooters or rollerblades and helmets) Market is Sat 11-4. Food stalls; crepes, falafels, burgers, ice cream, Irish Crafts and Art. OUR IMMEDIATE NEIGBHOURHOOD The Two Sister’s pub is a 5 min walk. I like it more than the ones in the village. Its cozy, easy to get a seat and the food is decent. We have a corner shop, good for basics; canned foods, frozen foods, milk, soda, bread, eggs, tomato or a lemon… 8:30am – 8pm and it has a post office with an atm inside. There is a chemist on the corner also 9:30a-7pm KCR is a little further (5-7 min walk) but its a larger shop with more variety and a petrol station. There is a butcher, veg section, better selection of beer and wine, and a subway sandwich shop. There is also a donut truck outside.
