What you will love about this home
*NOTE: We are only available for/ interested in reciprocal home exchanges.
Our home is cozy (1300 sq. ft) but efficient and thoughtfully designed & art-filled. We love light, nature, art, & cooking... and this is evident when you're in our home. Our downstairs is an open format (living, dining, & cooking all in one space). Our kitchen is recently renovated with gourmet amenities. Our downstairs space flows nicely to our backyard. We love our backyard because it faces a small creek & nature-filled eucalyptus grove. You can also enjoy the view of the trees from our upstairs balcony.
We are a smoke-free home.

DOWNSTAIRS:

UPSTAIRS:
-master bedroom: includes a king size bed (very comfortable!). The master bedroom includes a walk-thru closet and ensuite bathroom (toilet + shower). The room also opens up to our balcony with views of an eucalyptus grove.
Kid bedroom #1: This bedroom currently has 1 toddler bed.
Kid bedroom #2: This bedroom has a twin bed that can be converted in to "2 twin beds" or "1 king" (see pic)
Bathroom: Across from the third bedroom is our third bathroom (toilet, shower, bath).
NOTE:
-We have one smart T.V. in the master bedroom. *We do not have cable
-We do not have Air Conditioning but we have "whole house fan" that cools off the house nicely. *AC is rarely needed here.
-We do not allow pets
-We do not allow smoking
-We do not allow drugs or big parties
SAN LUIS OBISPO is a small, family-friendly, charming University town. It has been noted as one of America's HAPPIEST cities! People are friendly, life is easy, and nature is at your finger-tips! The weather is beautiful almost year-round! Come experience the "SLO" life.
BEACH: The closest beach is a 15 minute drive (Avila Beach). But there are also many more in close proximity.
WINERIES: There are many wineries that are a 5-10 min drive from our house. There are hundreds of wineries to visit in the greater area (from San Luis Obispo to Paso Robles!)
DOWNTOWN: We are a 10 minute drive to downtown San Luis Obispo. Parking is fairly easy and accessible. Downtown is full of charming coffeeshops, boutiques and restaurants.
OUR NEIGHBORHOOD:
Our neighborhood is safe with very friendly neighbors. We are 3 minutes (by foot) to a park with views of the surrounding hills and mountains. The park includes a playground, tennis courts, picnic area, restrooms, and large grassy areas. We are very close to the trail head to hike Islay Hill (hour hike). In addition, you can walk to the grocery store in 5 minutes.
*Many other parks, trails, beaches, and attractions in the area (too many to list here)!

SAN LUIS OBISPO
We love our town and so does everyone who lives here :)... lots of hometown pride! The town of San Luis Obispo has been called "The Happiest City in America" due to it's friendly residents, quality of life, beautiful landscape of beaches and wine country, hiking trails, farmer's markets, great coffee shops, great restaurants, lots of breweries...etc.! It truly is a gem of town. It's very family friendly... and your time here can be a mix of recreation, relaxation, food & wine, nature, & culture. We have a list of all our favorite places.
There are also MANY great little towns and sites in the greater area to visit for half-day or full day trips

-Hearst Castle
