Our home is a 150m2 quiet, light and spacy non-smoking apartment on the 3rd floor of 1920ies building, lift available. The apartment is located 5 mins walk from both metro and tram stops with direct access to the very downtown within 15-20 mins. Despite the fast and easy access to the city centre, the neighbourhood is very calm and non-touristy, allowing to experience the authentic atmosphere of a place where locals live. The apartment provides perfect comfort for 4 people, may fit six. There is a large kitchen combined with dining room, a study, our bedroom with double bed, two children´s bedrooms with sleeping platforms (one fitting 1 kid, the other large enough for two), packed with toys used by our children. If need be, there is an extra guestroom with sofa for two. There are two bathrooms, one with tub, and the other with shower. As this is our primary residence, you will find all the necessary equipment in the flat, plenty of books (some of them in English, Russian and French, yah!) and free Wi-Fi. There is a food store just across the street opened 7 days a week, and a supermarket less than 5 mins walk.


Libeň, our quarter, is the oldest cadastral part of Prague 8. It was attached to Prague in 1901, keeping direct contact with the city centre and having easy access to the airport and the main bus/train stations. Perfectly located to discover Prague as well as some other Czech Rep highlights if you wish to travel some more! Libeň offers rather diverse neighbourhood: Aside from calm streets with houses from early 20th century, where we live, you can also find streets that have recently turned into more of a hipster area, or other parts, that clearly remind of the industrial and proletarian past of Libeň (often described by Bohumil Hrabal who lived in the neighbourhood). The apartment has easy and direct connection to the city centre by both tramway and metro, a food store just across the street opened 7 days a week, and some good restaurants in the neighbourhood. With newly renovated cycling path very near our place, you may also enjoy nice walks along Vltava river (some 4kms to the city ZOO alongside the water).


Our flat is a homey and friendly place with a lot of space and light. It is located in a walking distance to the key lines of both metro and tramways, with direct public transport access to the city centre within 15 mins. Easy access to the airport and bus/train stations.
