Situated in Lugarno, an affluent leafy peninsula on the Georges River, we are within close walking distance of our shopping village and public transport with quick connections to the city. Our house is on a stunning cliff top in a seven-house cul-de-sac. The area abounds with tall gum trees and beautiful native birds serenade us in the morning and evening. There are 7 separate 30-minute park/river walks within 5 minutes and a public golf course close by. Sydney is at it's best in Spring or Autumn, fresh, warm and bright - usually a perfect 22-27C Non-smokers please. Open to new locations also. HOUSE SNAPSHOT TOP LEVEL - 3 bedrooms (1 king bed, 2 queen), main bathroom and office. Broadband WiFi -Smart TV and Netflix subscription etc in main and second bedroom. LOWER LEVEL - TV room and wet bar, single guest bedroom, bathroom and garden patio - separate air conditioning. Bar fridge, wine cellar, 65" smart TV, DVD library, Netflix etc, rowing machine, gas BBQ and dining setting on garden patio - zero care garden - automated watering system. LOCATION Lugarno is 30 minutes from central Sydney and 20 minutes from Sydney International Airport. Our local village has all the vital retail requirements - supermarket, newsagent, pharmacy, butcher, greengrocer, ATM, medical centre, liquor store, bakery, hairdresser, beauty salons, two Italian restaurants and alfresco cafes. Within 10-15 minute drive there are 4 major shopping centres. As the map shows, we are well placed for all the southern-ocean and river beaches. TRANSPORT Public transport is excellent with good frequency - the bus is a 2-minute walk. Rail to central Sydney takes 30 minutes. 2 travel cards on hand (buses, ferries and trains) for easy trips to the city - max out at A$2.60 per day. There is a new 2020 Mazda 3 automatic available, (negotiable with exchange and subject to full comprehensive approval from our insurers).

Lugarno is a prosperous little enclave with all facilities within easy reach and our weather is moderated by being close to the river and ocean. But the suburb of Lugarno, on the Georges River in southern Sydney, retains a very low profile. Large family homes in Lugarno often include valuable amenities such as expansive gardens and private jetties. According to Ken Mason, current president of the Lugarno Progress Association, “Lugarno is on a peninsula, so there are no main roads going through,” he explains. “The only people you see around here are the people who live here and most of the people who come here tend to stay here - and it’s also a very safe place”
