What you will love about this home

Our home is located on Griffith Avenue, a beautiful tree-lined street in Drumcondra, Dublin. Built in the 1920's we completed a full refurbishment just over a year ago making it a wonderful modern family home. The bus stop across the road will take you to the city centre in 15 minutes and the airport is just a 15 minute drive. There are 4 bedrooms upstairs currently furnished as 2 double bedrooms and 2 children's bedrooms. Downstairs is a cosy sitting room/TV room,lots of channels and a Wii U with some games. There is a playroom full of toys for girls and boys. To the rear a large kitchen/dining room which opens out to the garden. This is where we live and hang out. The kitchen is fully equipped with all modern appliances. The utility has washing machine and dryer. The large glass doors to the rear face south and it is wonderful and bright throughout the day. The garden to the rear has outdoor seating in summer, a trampoline for kids, bikes for cycling, a sandpit for playing in and is fully enclosed. Our car is a 2007 Ford Focus C-Max (5-seater) and is available for exchange/use.

Our house is located on a beautiful tree-lined avenue in Drumcondra, just 40 minutes walk to the city centre (15 minutes by bus with a stop across the road). It is also just a 15 minute drive from Dublin airport and there is a local bus which goes to the airport a 10 minute walk away. The house is convenient to local shops, bars, restaurants and 3 great parks all a short walk away. The parks include the wonderful Botanic Gardens, an oasis of calm and beauty with international acclaim, Griffith Park with a playground and Albert College Park with great path for kids to cycle, a playground and football goals. There is also a public tennis court and basketball nets nearby. Distance to points of interest and major transport: - City Centre (2.5 miles/4 km) - Dublin Airport (5 miles/9 km) - Connolly Station (minor national railway) (2.5 miles/4 km) - Heuston Station (major national railway) (4 miles/6 km) - Parks: Botanic Gardens (1 mile/2 km), Newbridge House and Farm, Malahide Castle and Park (8 miles/12 km) - Museums/Galleries: National Gallery/Natural History Museum/National Museum (3 miles/5 km) - Beaches: Dollymount Strand (5 miles/9 km), Burrow Beach (8 miles/12 km) - M50 (2.5 miles/4 km): major motorway with routes to all national primary routes around the country
