What you will love about this neighborhood
Malahide is a seaside village which has developed into a small town but retains a very unique character. It is renowned for its choice of restaurants and amenities, very much a place where families raise their children.
Lots of interesting places to visit : the Malahide Castle and Gardens (golf, playground, tennis, basket, football, hurling, gaelic...). There is also a Grand Hotel on the ocean front with swimming pool, Turkish bath and Sauna open to the public. Tennis court right beside.
Day trips can be taken by motorway to Northern Ireland, the Wicklow Mountains, and Malahide is also connected by electric train to the centre of Dublin (circa 25 minutes). There are also a range of museums and other interesting place to visit in Dublin.
There are excellent golf courses within a very short distance, notably Portmarnock Links, Portmarnock Old Course, Malahide Golf Course, and The Island Golf Club.
