Our home is a bright & beautiful apartment with a nice private garden. It's centrally located in Reykjavik, just a few steps from Laugardalur with its botanical garden, petting zoo, children's park, Iceland's biggest outdoor swimming pool, spa & gym, ice-skate-park and more outdoor fun. The park is also great for walking and running. Restaurants, grocery stores, bakeries and playgrounds are in the neighborhood just a quick walk away. Our home is ideal for families with kids as we have kids ourselves and many toys to share. The master bedroom has a very nice double tempur pedic bed. The large teenager bedroom has a full sized bed, TV and game-computers (PlayStation 4, Wii) and a sofa that can easily change into bed. We have a nice room for our 10 year old girl with a bed that can also be a double bed and lots of toys to share. There is also an office-room (possible to have a small bed in there) and in the basement we have laundry room with washing mashing and a dryer. The bathroom has a bathtub with shower and the kitchen is fully equipped so you will be able to prepare all of your meals at home if you feel like it. And yes, there is a dishwasher! The backyard has a bbq ready-to-cook and a trampoline for the kids to jump around and have some fun (well, at least when it’s not winter). The garage has a few bikes for the whole family to go for a ride downtown or around Reykjavik area.

Our home is situated in a quiet street but very close to Laugardalur, which is one of the most popular outdoor area in Reykjavík with great swimming pool, gym, petting zoo, ice-skating park and botanical gardens. Our neighborhood is close to Reykjavik downtown area, just a few minutes walk around the scenic coastline to Harpa concert hall, and the city centre. There are many restaurants in a walking distance and grocery stores, museums, farmers market, playgrounds and bakeries - just minutes away. We really love our neighborhood.

Bright and spacious - wonderful with kids! 2 minute walk to Reykjavik's best swimming pool! Scenic walk or bike ride to downtown by the ocean.
