What you will love about this home

Our home is a recently renovated house built in the 1850's in a quiet neighbourhood of Victorian railway worker houses. The house was fully renovated in 2016 keeping a lot of the old charm but with modern touches. It has a fully fitted kitchen and bright living space. It has a private front garden with access only by a pathway and a laneway with parking directly behind the house before another long garden. The living area is south facing so it gets great light all during the day and both gardens are great for a sunny evening barbeque. As we have two small kids the house has a plenty of toys, older kids will be kept busy with the playground at the end of our road. The house has 1 double bedrooms and 2 children's rooms with a bunk bed in one and a high bed in the other. The house will sleep 2 adults, 3 children Our house is ideally situated to give you a taste of the real old Dublin with easy access to the city centre and all major tourist attractions - walking distance from Kilmainham Gaol, IMMA and the Phoenix Park.

What you will love about this neighborhood

Inchicore is a great little village with all you need for your stay in Ireland including an Italian restaurant, cafes (possibly the best coffee in Ireland in one), a micro-brewery that also makes excellent pizzas, gin distillery, supermarkets, takeaways, a lovely pub for a Guinness, pharmacies and more. It has great transport links into the city centre by bus, Luas (tram) and the Dublin bike scheme which is the cheapest and best way of getting around the city. Inchicore is also ideally situated for day trips to the coast and countryside as it is only a 5 minute drive from the M50 ring road and 20 minute walk to Heuston station, the main train station for the west and south of Ireland. The historical area of Kilmainham is only 5 minutes away with Kilmainham Gaol and the Royal Hospital which houses Dublin's Modern art gallery - IMMA. The War Memorial Park is also a short walk away which is a lovely place for picnics watching rowing on the river Liffey. The Phoenix park which houses Dublin Zoo is also close by as is the Guinness Storehouse - Europes favourite tourist attraction
