We love our bright modern home, which is centrally located to take advantage of downtown Victoria's tourist attractions and the natural amenities of the surrounding Capital Region. We're just 1/2 block from the gorgeous Gorge Waterway, an inlet connected to Victoria's harbour, with its lovely waterfront walkway and opportunities for water-based activities. The focus of our home is our spacious designer kitchen with island, heated slate floor, double ovens and two Wolf gas stovetops. We love to travel, and our home's decor features art collected from around the world. The 2nd-storey master bedroom has a queen-size bed with a sun-drenched deck opening off the room and an en suite with heated slate floor and doorless rain shower and tub. A second upstairs bedroom has a very comfortable queen sofabed (American Leather brand, no springs) and another full bathroom. The upstairs office space has an infrared sauna availble for use. On the ground level, a third bedroom with queen bed has its own en suite with rain shower and tub. The slate back patio has a natural gas BBQ and opens onto our sunny back garden, which offers a fresh snack of salad greens and veggies, strawberries, raspberries, blackberries or blueberries -- depending on the time of year. We enjoy many outdoor activities, so our kayaks, canoe and bicycles can be made available. The Galloping Goose bicycle trail close by offers easy cycling to downtown or, heading the opposite direction, access to Thetis Lake (best freshwater swimming lake) or follow the trail all the way to beautiful Sooke Potholes Provincial Park.
