Our solar powered home is a recently completed 4 bed house perched on a cliff 100 feet above the sea on the relatively undeveloped North Side of Tortola. It has amazing sea views along the coast and waves crashing on the rocks just below. It features a 34'x18' infinity edge pool that matches the colours of the sea . The house is filled with an eclectic mix of antique furniture, artwork and European flea market finds and has a spacious tiled deck with large covered veranda to the front and a secluded courtyard to the rear. The main room and kitchen is large and airy with oak floors and high ceilings and a 15 foot sliding door that opens on to the pool area. The well-equipped kitchen is a mix of modern and vintage with stainless steel Viking appliances including a large duel fuel range. The main floor also has the master bedroom and a large ensuite bathroom. the lower floor has two bedroom with ensuite bathrooms and their own private balconies. there is also a laundry room and TV den on this floor. the upper floor has a small funky Spanish tiled bedroom with arched windows overlooking the pool and a large covered deck with seating area. The house is primarily powered by 50 solar panels set into the flat roofs and it is mostly independent of mains electricity though it can use grid power when necessary. A sophisticated monitoring system automatically controls the power so no user input is required. A short walk away is one of the loveliest secluded sandy coves in the BVI, the stunningly beautiful beach of Rogues Bay. It can get very powerful waves in the winter season although it is mostly calm in the summer. There are many other gorgeous beaches within a short drive of the house.

Our House is situated on Rogues Point a small peninsular jutting into the Atlantic Ocean adjacent to one of the most beautiful beaches on Tortola. The area is rural with a few other houses nearby in a small friendly neighbourhood. It is about 10 minutes drive from the main town, Roadtown on the other side of the dividing Ridge. It is a spectacularly beautiful area.
