Our home is a lovely Edwardian home, built in 1916. There is a bright, spacious kitchen and general eating area with a large wooden table that can accommodate up to 8 people . The front sitting room opens via folding period panel doors with stained glass windows into a formal dining room with an antique table and 8 chairs.
The large master bedroom is very comfortable, contains numerous period features, has a king size bed and is illuminated by a triple bay window. The second bedroom contains a king size double bed and the third bedroom contains a queen size double bed. The fourth bedroom has a single bed.
The bathroom has a pedestal bath which incorporates a shower.
The south-westerly facing 30 foot garden has an outdoor table and seating, ideal for relaxing during summer evenings in Dublin.
We have a dog, Buddy, but he goes on his 'holidays' to his sister Honey's house when we are away (Honey is my sister's dog so it makes it very easy!).
Terenure is a well-established, friendly and safe Dublin neighbourhood within easy access of several highly-commended restaurants, open parks, tennis courts, shops, the fascinating Kilmainham jail, and the historical city of Dublin. There are 2 public swimming pools nearby, numerous cycling routes, and it is a gateway to the Wicklow (the 'Garden of Ireland'), the South-East with its array of beautiful beaches within 40-50 minutes, and one can travel to the West of Ireland within 2.5 hours. Dublin itself is located on the coast with open sandy beaches and water sports 30 minutes drive away
Quiet road with over 16 restaurants a couple of minutes walk away!
Several parks, tennis courts, soccer pitches, paddle courts, bowling and indoor swimming pools close by.
10 minute drive (45 min walk) into city centre!
